Postdoctoral Position in Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics


The Department of Physics at the University of Alberta invites applications to fill one postdoctoral position in theoretical condensed matter physics. The successful applicant will work in collaboration with Joseph Maciejko (http://www.ualberta.ca/~maciejko) and Frank Marsiglio (http://www.ualberta.ca/~fm3). This position is a full-time one-year appointment, renewable for a second year by mutual agreement. Potential research topics include strongly correlated electrons, topological phases of matter, and superconductivity. The applicant must have a strong background in theoretical condensed matter physics and relevant analytical and/or computational experience.
