Maynooth University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellowship (3yrs) as well as for a Ph.D. position (4yrs) in Theoretical Physics.

The Ph.D. student and postdoc will be funded by a Science Foundation Ireland Investigator Award entitled "Topological Order and Fault Tolerant Quantum Computation" and will work in the Department of Mathematical Physics, in association with Dr. Joost Slingerland.

Both positions are to start this year.

The deadline for applications for the postdoctoral position is the 1st of February.

There is no set deadline for the Ph.D. position, but we hope to fill it as soon as possible.
